Quality Assurance - Functional & Performance Tester - Assistant

Role Summary & Role Description:

Functional & Performance Test Engineer with around 5-8 years of experience to work exclusively on Financial Services domain. Person in this position will collaborate with peers on cross functional teams (primarily agile) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

As a Functional & Performance Test Engineer you will be -

. Understanding business requirements and defining test strategies for software applications.

.Developing and maintaining Test plan, Test cases, Test data, Test backups and other SQA artifacts.

.Performing Integration, System, Regression, Compatibility and User acceptance testing phases.

.Participating in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs.

.Maintaining and tracking the test deliverables in test management tool.

.Executing test scripts via automation tools.

. Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases and support.

.Preparing the performance test strategy.

.Securing the performance test environment.

.Presenting the report to the development/business team.

.At least 3+ years of experience in Performance Testing with excellent expertise in J-meter or Blazemeter tools.

Core/Must have skills:

Capital Markets domain experience

Functional, Application and Performance Testing experience

Strong knowledge in SQL.

Strong Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development.

Strong Practical experience in using Test Management Tools

Defect Tracking Tools like RTC, Jira

Performance Testing tools like J-meter or Blazemeter

Capability of Executing Test Cases via Automation Tools

Good to have skills:

Knowledge on UFT and Selenium automation tools.

Scripting languages like VB scripting, Java Scripting
