Senior Specialist/ Technical Specialist

Reports To

The Senior Specialist/ Technical Specialist will report to the Team Lead or project Manager.

Job Overview

Play senior technical role in assigned accounts, handling all BAU activities and work on priority issues or escalations. Involve in implementation and Team skill development.

Responsibilities and Duties

Work with other team members to found solution for the issue.

Handling issue track end to end

Take responsible for Change Implementation, Preparing POA, Attending CAB meeting.

Working in Ageing task and provide solution earliest.

Guiding L1 team members and groom them to next level.

Tickets Queue monitoring

Shift Handover

Keep availability on shift

Adhere process and SLA

Joining P1 & P2 calls.

Contribute support in creating SOP, RCA, other reports and documents

Qualifications

Education level: Any Graduation

Experience: 4-7 years

Specific skills: Good Knowledge and Hands on experience in Security devices

Good Experience in Firewall Concepts (Paloalto, Cisco, Checkpoint)

Good Knowledge in IPSEC VPN and RA VPN solutions and troubleshooting

Having experience in AAA devices, Radius and TACACS authentication (ACS, ISE)

Should have knowledge in Networks, Proxy and NSC devices functionality.

Personal characteristics: Full Responsibility, Flexibility is Shift timings, team coordination.

Certifications: Will be consider as additional qualification

To clearly understand the client's cybersecurity environment and respective product. (2.) To monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues and related monitoring tools (3.) To analyse and validate cybersecurity incidents in-detail and help the L3 team with RCAordata or logs collection (4.) To enable knowledge transferortrainings through creationor maintenance of configuration documents, test plans, operational manuals and provide operational training to L1 team. (5.) To analyse and fine-tune cybersecurity policies, participate in cybersecurity review calls pertaining to change requests and recommendations on cybersecurity policy changes. (6.) To implement changes, monitor security device performance and implements performance tuning when necessary. (7.) To prepare analyses and reports to highlight the project progressorchallenges and ensure quality and accuracy to the client
