What we need…
We are currently seeking a System Administrator II to join our Windows Technology Services Group. The ideal candidate will assist with Infrastructure patching, maintenance and troubleshooting. This position is responsible for keeping Windows Operating Systems and 3rd party applications up to date and in compliance with security controls and compliance requirements.

What you'll do:
Ensure all Windows Systems and 3rd Party applications are patched and up to date and in compliance as required by Security
Coordinate with various application owners to update and address security vulnerabilities within applications
Responsible for system compliance as it relates to Windows Server Infrastructure (Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022)
Responsible for system compliance as it relates to Windows Desktop Infrastructure (Windows 10 and 11)
Update software on Desktops/Laptops/Servers to address Vulnerabilities and EOL versions
Evening and Weekend work required in order to address patching needs as required by SLAs
Perform post patching diagnose/troubleshooting to determine root cause as needed
Implement and maintain security controls on Windows Servers and Desktops
Develop and maintain accurate documentation of processes, standards and baselines across Windows Servers & Desktops along with generating status updates where required
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience
Two to five years of Corporate IT / Network Support experience with solid technical troubleshooting abilities
Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting
Previous experience with automation/patching using Microsoft System Configuration Manager (SCCM) / Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM)
In-depth understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10, 11 and Server 2016, 2019 and 2022)
Demonstrated experience supporting workstations, windows servers and other IT systems in a mission critical environment
Previous experience patching Windows Desktops & Servers
Experience patching Windows Operating Systems and 3rd Party Applications (Java, Flash, etc)
Experience packaging software for distribution to corporate PCs/Servers
Excellent communication / documentation skills
Strong attention to detail
Nice to Have's (Not Required):
Previous experience with products such as Tenable is a strong plus.
Previous experience with CIS Benchmarks is a strong plus
Experience working in a Virtualized environment using VMware vSphere
Extensive experience with ADDS, GPOs, DHCP, DFS-R, DNS, etc
The salary range for this position is $61,200 - 86,700 annually.
