The ideal candidate will facilitate daily business to the customer base within a specified geographic region, work with respective support staff to ensure proper forecasting, reporting, inventory, and billing, and handle any customer concerns that may arise. Responsible for maximizing product distribution out of the regional terminal(s). Manage customer relationships and grow market share in a specified geographic region.
Responsibilities
Manage personal sales through existing distribution points in a specified geographic region in the country
Manage purchasing and inventory (in conjunction with product management) for distribution in through warehouse(s) in a specific geographic region
Communicate internally market shifts and adjust pricing accordingly
Review Daily inventory reports to maximize space and minimize demurrage
Review barge and rail fleet positions for accuracy and work toward maximum efficiency
Identify further distribution opportunities within a specified region for presentation to HFC management
Daily / weekly/monthly contract maintenance
Forecast both sales and profitability as requested by management
Ensure that trucking logistics are being handled adequately
Handle any product quality issues (in conjunction with product management)
Continuously develop new customer base within a defined geographic region
Update and monitor any pertinent activity in SalesForce
Attend trade conferences as requested by management
Travel within a defined region to maintain and grow the regional business

3 + years of industry experience preferred.
