Payroll Specialist

A San Gabriel Valley construction company is looking for a new Payroll Specialist to join their team! As a Payroll Specialist, you'll be assisting with maintaining personnel files, running weekly payroll, and data entry

Pay starting at $20-$21

Essential Duties:

Set-up new hires

Maintenance personnel files

Run weekly in house payroll for 100+ employees

Audit overtime hours

Prepare payroll documents for data entry

Process manual checks

State and federal tax wire transfers

Calculate salary adjustments, vacation pay

What we're looking for: *

Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel

An excellent communicator

Sharp, efficient and detailed oriented individual who knows how to prioritize

Accurate typing and data entry skills

2 years in house payroll experience

10 key by touch

Data entry, 8,000 kph w/high % of accuracy
