BWW Law Group, LLC, an "AV" rated real estate default law firm with offices located in Rockville, MD and Richmond, VA is seeking an Attorney to join our team in our Rockville, MD office. Skilled, recently admitted attorneys will be considered, with preference given to those with litigation experience. MD or DC bar admission is required, admission to both is a plus. This position is full time (currently a hybrid remote and in-office position). Attention to detail is a must to succeed as a part of our team! Our Rockville office is Metro accessible (Red Line - White Flint Station), and provides free employee parking.

Responsibilities:

Handle a caseload in accordance with firm, client and court timeline requirements;

Analyze legal issues and review strategies for assigned matters with Managing Attorney;

Work with department staff to ensure timely updates to client systems and the firm’s case management system;

Timely communicate with clients on statuses of case matters;

Prepare and review a variety of legal documents for legal sufficiency and compliance with client directives and state/federal law;

Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, codes, and prepare foreclosure related motions, complaints; responsive pleadings and briefs;

Review and analyze real estate law and real estate title cases and ability to handle substantive real estate and title litigation matters;

Prioritize and manage an assigned portfolio of work in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating great attention to detail and accountability;

Depending on experience level and/or ability to be trained, this role can grow to include:

Draft /argue pre-trial motions and pleadings, attend court hearings and mediations;

Handle depositions; participate in trials at the state and Federal level.

Qualifications:

Admission to MD or DC bar is required;

Recently admitted attorneys are encouraged to apply;

Familiarity with Real Estate law, Title Litigation, Foreclosure and Bankruptcy matters, is a plus;

Superior oral and written communication skills;

Must be organized; detail-oriented, able to multitask and handle a variety of legal matters in a high volume practice;

Experience writing briefs, conducting depositions, oral arguments, handling contested litigation matters is a plus;

Comfortable working independently and with a team.
