The purpose of this position is to ensure KMC clients are served professionally, compassionately, and intelligently.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician assists with all aspects of the property's maintenance. This includes the physical grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred and emergency, and general maintenance.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

· General maintenance involving basic troubleshooting, carpentry, electrical work, drywall repair, plumbing (sump pump repairs, etc.), and at times assist with grounds maintenance if needed

· Completing work orders and turning in for invoicing

Requirements Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Minimum one-year full time maintenance experience required - previous community maintenance experience preferred

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Availability for after hour's emergency maintenance calls including holidays and weekends

· Maintain a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. stand for extended periods and be able to use a ladder

· Pass background/criminal check

· Must have your own basic hand tools
