Inventory Control Clerk

Job Description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description: The inventory control clerk reports directly to the Materials Manager. The position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supplying the operations team with materials required for production. This position requires organizational skills and attention to detail.

Essential Responsibilities:

Safely operates forklift and pallet truck to move materials

Puts incoming materials & tooling away physically & in inventory control system

Picks material & tooling for delivery to work areas, and to shipping dock

Maintains trace on all material coming in and out of stock

Performs weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

Troubleshoots inventory discrepancies

Keeps all boxes, skids, totes, etc. organized in designated stage areas

Performs monthly shelf life audits and communicates with quality & purchasing

Backfills for shipping & receiving as required

Follows all safety policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

Minimum of one (1) year in material control

Highly organized

Working knowledge of Windows applications (Word and Excel)

Basic keyboarding ability
