Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects. Your primary duties will include requesting change orders, handling Compliance Assurance Plan (CAP) requests, conducting Eco Plus site visits, creating sales orders, verifying payment applications, approving invoicing, and assisting with collections.

Duties & Functions

Creating/Verifying/Following up Change Orders

-Work closely with project coordinators and strategic sales and inspectors to identify change orders.

-Verify and submit change order requests to clients and follow up on executed change orders.

-Maintain detailed records of change order requests and change order executed approvals.

Handling Compliance Assurance Plan (CAP) Requests

-Collaborate with project teams to compile necessary documentation for CAP submissions.

-Ensure CAP compliance by reviewing and adding CAP to projects and CAP change orders as needed.

-Informing the project coordinator that a CAP change order is needed.

Eco Plus Site Visits

-Conduct on-site visits to assess and document the project’s adherence to environmental and sustainability standards.

-Collaborate with Clients to ensure proper communication between client and company to weed out any issues.

Verifying Payment Applications

-Review payment applications submitted by project coordinators and sign when acceptable.

-Verify the accuracy of payment requests against project milestones and contract terms.

Approving Invoicing/Work Orders

-Review and approve invoices from vendors and subcontractors.

-Ensure that invoices align with the agreed-upon project terms and budgets.

-Approve/submit work orders to be sent out to field ops team and collaborate with crews for project efficiencies.

Assisting with Collections

-Collaborate with the finance team to follow up on outstanding payments.

-Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve payment issues.

Creating Jobs in File Folders & Project Management

-Creating new starts in the file folders for the team to access newly awarded projects.

-Coordinating with project coordinators and project Admin for project admin issues

Business development events

-Attend events and collaborate with clients to produce more revenue in their market.

-Work with clients to generate more revenue through change orders. Requirements:

Qualifications & Standards

Previous experience in construction project coordination or a related role is preferred

Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite

Strong computer skills to include MS Office Suite

Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.

Individuals must be dependable, have good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to interact and communicate with associates at all levels.

Must be able to multi-task and handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a professional, prompt manner.

Must be able to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks.

Must have demonstrated initiative to complete responsibilities.
