Job Description

A school in the Manassas, Virginia area is looking for a full-time, contracted, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the full 2024-25 school year. We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable applicant that is eager to provide valuable service to our K - 12th grade students! As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will help provide meaningful and life-changing services to our Special Education students.

Position Details:

Full-time / 35 hours per week

August 22, 2024 - June 12, 2025

Caseload: K - 12th grade students, specific details will be discussed during the interview process

Pay Range: $20 - $35 per hour, depending on previous experience

General Responsibilities:

Assist in the administration and scoring of speech and language evaluations under the direction of a certified SLP.

Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEP) or therapy plans.

Document student performance and progress towards goals under the supervision of an SLP.

Requirements:

Must have an active SLPA Virginia License

Must have Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
