DevOps Engineer

About the work:

• You’ll be responsible for keeping all Dehaat production systems running smoothly

• Run all Dehaat services on cloud-native container-based deployments with Kubernetes

• Run and maintain our infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform

• Setup monitoring and alerting (Prometheus+Grafana or alternatives)

• Improve the deployment process to make it as boring as possible

• Build and maintain core infrastructure pieces that allow Dehaat scaling to hundred of thousands of concurrent farmers and agri businesses

• Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack.

• Plan the growth of Dehaat's infrastructure.

• Identify upcoming technologies that improve Dehaat’s infra and/or are worth experimentation

About you:

• 7-10 years in software engineering, SRE, DevOps, or similar teams

• Experience operating a consumer scale platform

• Have experience in setting up the full dev workflow - right from Dev, Test, Build to Deployment

• Have command over one language - Python/Java/JS/Ruby - including debugging and performance analysis

• Have experience with Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible or similar technologies

• Have experience implementing and deploying distributed systems on AWS/GCP etc.
