Deputy Director - Academic Operations

Assist the Vice President in working closely with the Campus HOIs, to contribute to and implement the Institutional Vision of the University, and ensure that the Educational Philosophy is executed;

Supervision of all matters relating to curriculum and instruction in the University, including outreach and extension courses and scheduling;

Oversee faculty and academic staff development activities;

Contributes in developing active and effective Program Advisory Committee;

Assist the campuses with preparation and conduct of various inspections and accreditation events;

Facilitating, development and implementation of academic strategic planning;

Work with campuses to evaluate faculty, assess classroom effectiveness and correct observed deficiencies.

Coordinate with the Registrar(s) to develop and implement Academic policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory statutes and accrediting requirements;

Coordinate periodic academic program review and work with HOIs in the review, study, and development of curriculum and in the improvement of instruction;

Perform administrative tasks such as processing of academic cases for approval of the Chancellor.
