Ship Repair – Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you will be the point person for managing the projects and contracts. You will help ensure the most cost effective methods to complete repair work while identifying and mitigating risks. Review costs, schedules, and project plans to identify milestones and roadblocks. Use your excellent communications skills to push information regarding progress of projects and programs. You will be a decision maker and a problem solver, working to accomplish the goals of this organization. Must communicate and work professionally as part of the team. Maritime Industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Estimating & Cost Tracking – Review time sheets & project expenses to ensure proper coding for cost tracking and financial reporting
Scheduling – Maintained daily and presented weekly in MS Project
Management/QA – Utilize traveler packages for all projects in accordance with QA Program
Safety & Environmental Procedures/Protocol are followed
& Subcontractor Management
Purchasing – Requisition all materials, rentals, etc. for projects, as required
Procedures & Qualifications – Maintain all welders and add new qualifications as required
