This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of being in the office on occasion. This model combines the convenience of working from home with periodic in-office collaboration to enhance team synergy and innovation.

Overview:

Seeking a Product Manager to oversee the lifecycle of our time, temperature, weather, environmental, and home monitoring product lines. This role involves launching new products, extending existing lines, and managing promotions while navigating competitive and international markets. The ideal candidate will drive efforts to maintain our status as a market leader in both B2C and B2B channels, leveraging creativity alongside financial and process discipline. Focus areas include SKU productivity, cost-effective design, channel differentiation, and gross margin optimization.

Responsibilities:

Develop, communicate, and implement strategic product line plans.

Act as the primary knowledge source for products, market dynamics, and consumer insights.

Identify and capitalize on new product opportunities from diverse sources.

Oversee product P&L, development, launch, and discontinuation processes.

Integrate consumer and market feedback to enhance product offerings.

Maintain up-to-date market intelligence and competitive analyses.

Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, global sourcing, and supply chain teams.

Engage with external agencies such as marketing consultants and design professionals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.

At least 5 years of progressive product management experience.

Proven track record with North American retailers and offshore sourcing in consumer durables.

Experience managing external marketing and design resources.

Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, Solve, and SharePoint.

Knowledge of international markets is advantageous.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20%).

Ability to work flexible hours to communicate with international teams.
