S&OP Manager

We are currently assisting our client, a global industry leader, with an S&OP Manager search based near Pittsburgh. This manager will be responsible for the management and continuous development of the client's Sales and Operations Planning program. The successful candidate will maximize overall supply chain operations by working to integrate efforts in materials management, supplier development, direct and indirect spending strategies, and global logistics.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and continuously improve the corporate S&OP program

Manage and mentor their team with a focus on improving efforts in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and new products.

Develop and coordinate programs and practices for division-wide changes in inventory management, procurement, data management, and production planning

Maximize the utilization of current inventory and drive longer-term reductions

Analyze and evaluate global performance to maximize cost-savings and profitability

Establish performance metrics, policies, and procedures in administering quality relationships with suppliers

Work with site supply chain departments to create effective solutions to improve each site’s demand planning, inventory management, procurement direction, and distribution efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor degree

5+ years of supply chain management

Experience in S&OP/SIOP management

Extensive experience with managing and improving ERP systems
