Our industry leading Insurance client is on a mission to transform our Technology landscape, and we're seeking a visionary VP, Software Engineering to lead the charge!

As the leader of our Claim Technology organization, you'll define the technical strategy that empowers engineers across departments. You'll be a champion for innovation, removing roadblocks and fostering a culture of high-performing software development. This role would report into the CIO.

Here's what you'll do:

Shape the future: Develop a clear technical vision that guides Claim Technology and the broader software engineering organization.

Break down silos: Identify and eliminate barriers to productivity, fostering collaboration across teams.

Deliver excellence: Champion modern engineering practices, test automation, and operational excellence to drive high-quality, resilient solutions.

Lead with expertise: Be a recognized thought leader, contributing your deep domain knowledge to both Claim and the entire software engineering community.

Build a world-class team: Attract, develop, and mentor top talent, cultivating a strong pipeline of future leaders.

Foster innovation: Champion a culture of continuous learning and exploration, seeking new technologies to solve industry-wide problems.

We're looking for someone with:

Proven leadership: 7+ years of experience leading and motivating large engineering teams.

Technical vision: A keen understanding of software development trends and the ability to translate them into actionable strategies.

Delivery expertise: A proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable software solutions.

Communication mastery: The ability to articulate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Problem-solving prowess: A knack for tackling complex challenges and developing elegant, sustainable solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Extensive years of programming/development experience

5 years of technical leadership experience

Experience leading a team of 100+
