Information Technology Help Desk Specialist

Colonial Metals Group is a premier financial firm in the Precious Metals space based out of West Los Angeles and West Palm Beach, FL!

We are currently expanding our West Palm Beach team, and seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our Team!

You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees for computer systems, software, and hardware issues. You will respond to queries, diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, and help to maintain our IT infrastructure. TEAM PLAYER MENTALITY!

RESPONSIBILITES:

Respond to help desk inquiries via phone, email, or in-person promptly and professionally

Ability to work within Windows Professional Active Directory Environment and troubleshoot Windows Based Server Infrastructure

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including network connectivity, printer problems, email, and software-related issues

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and peripherals

Assist with onboarding/offboarding procedures for new and departing employees, including setting up user accounts and permissions

Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and antivirus scans

Document, track, and monitor problem resolution

Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and escalate problems when necessary

Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred - Not required

Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
