Moore Colson is thrilled to announce an enticing opportunity for a proactive and driven HR Generalist to become part of our team! In this role, the HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the human resources functions and initiatives of Moore Colson. You will be a key liaison between employees and management, fostering a positive work environment, contributing to the overall success of the organization, and enhancing the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements.

Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Process and communicate HR-related paperwork, such as promotions and terminations.

Manage employee files and ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.

Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Work collaboratively with management to promote positive employee relations and a respectful work environment.

Administer and communicate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.

Maintain accurate leave records and coordinate with payroll to ensure proper time-off tracking and payment

Administer and support the performance management process for the firm and it’s departments

Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes as needed.

Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.

Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge with HRIS and Performance Management Platforms needed.

HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

DISC knowledge or certification is a plus.
