Greetings,

Our client, a manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village is hiring a is full time Lathe programmer/setup machinist. Company offers competitive pay, stable and growing environment, health/dental/vision benefits, 10 days vacation and 5 days personal.

This is a first shift 40 hours guaranteed with a potential of 49 a week Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

Program, set up and operate Haas and Okuma lathe and machine parts/components to the required specifications.

Verify conformance of machined work piece to specifications using measuring devices and make corrections as required.

Create setup sheets.

Train operators and setup colleagues.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Haas & Okuma a big plus.

Lathe programming and setup experience.

Must be able to read Blueprints & Drawings including symbols and material shapes.

Must be able to read and interpret Blueprints, GD&T, and understand basic tolerances required.

Must have Math Skills (fractions, decimals, etc...).

Interpret geometric dimensions & tolerances.

Understand & maintain quality standards.
