Primary Responsibilities

The Field Sales & Operations Coordinator plays an integral role in the overall success of the Retail Development team, acting as the right-hand person for the Director and as the hub for all processes, tools, communication, cross departmental collaboration, metrics and measurement, performance analytics, system management and program betterments. The Field Sales & Operations Coordinator is focused on supporting the day-to-day coordination of internal departments and our field sales team. They will use their exceptional analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills to investigate issues, build reports, and support our in-store sales process. Essential Functions

• Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food).

•Plays critical role in field sales development by enabling execution improvement.

• Supports in providing direction and clarity on execution expectations.• Communication hub and liaison for all things field sales.• Accountable for the CRM system (Movista) from a development, training, deployment and improvement process.• Leverages CRM system to track, monitor and report on key performance indicators as well as mine data to analyze opportunities. • Participate in identifying the best tools to implement with the sales force and act as a resource person for the deployment and use of these tools with our suppliers and the Sales & Brand teams.• Aid in identifying optimal territory coverage and ensuring program is focused on key customers.• Collaborate on the strategic planning of the Sales and Retail Operations team with sales managers in all Canadian regions and ensure the achievement of objectives.• Work collaboratively with cross functional departments to ensure alignment and execution excellence.• Monitor, review and develop business processes for continuous improvement.• Set, chair and execute detailed value-added operational tempo and communication of sales priorities for Canada via monthly CDM meetings.• Set, develop and own an online reporting platform to streamline field information.• Develop a period recap to be shared with the internal business and the end of each period.• Prepare reporting statements for broker commissions.• Minimum quarterly market visits to work with TMs for market understanding as well as development.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

• Education within business, marketing, or equivalent and 3 years of working experience in a CPG environment is preferred.• Must be proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, and Power Point; focus on intermediate Excel skills.• Experience with various customer portals including (ex. LDIA, IRI Dunnhumby) is an asset.• High energy level, comfortable and ability to establish creditability and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be tactful, mature, and flexible with good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.• Excellent planning skills, with attention to detail so that workflow is managed efficiently and able to work independently of direct supervision.• Emphasis placed on organization skills and ability to distil large amounts of information.• Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) a week in our Mississauga office
