POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our Delta Contracting team and become part of our truck transportation crew. Under supervision and training, you'll safely load, transport, and unload our equipment using a truck and lowboy trailer, both locally and non-locally.
**Prior experience in hauling heavy machinery is a must.**

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load, transport, and unload company equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment for any hazards or defects, reporting any issues.
- Operate specialized equipment requiring technical expertise.
- Maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and secure storage of equipment.
- Prioritize safety, especially in high traffic and construction sites.
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Be flexible with working hours, including overtime, nights, weekends, and travel.
- Maintain valid Class A CDL, medical card, and acceptable driving record.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Class A CDL and medical card.
- Previous experience in heavy hauling.
- Preference given to candidates with construction industry experience.
- Familiarity with FMCSA/DOT regulations and fleet safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a construction environment with diverse personalities.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Exposure to various weather conditions.
- Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in tight spaces.
- Tolerance to noise levels and potential exposure to contaminants.
- Must wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Must have the ability to travel for overnight work for extended periods.
