Minimum Professional Qualifications for Lead Teachers:

High school diploma or GED required for all teacher positions.

Meets all requirements of licensing and regulatory agencies.

Accepts and believes in the philosophy and mission of the school.

Displays positive interpersonal skills, as well as critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

Possesses valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record and be willing to drive a van to transport children to and from school.

Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields

Passionate about working with children

Ability to build rapport with children

Positive and patient demeanor

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to pass the DFPS background check

Be free of active tuberculosis

Responsibilities:

Engage children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth

Create a fun and safe learning environment

Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime

Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents

Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress

Maintain the health and safety of all students

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm

Salary: $11.00 to $18.00 /hourCompany Description
