Forming Operator – Operator III
SAFETY:
Understand and follow all safety procedures
Current on all safety trainings
Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)
Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.
Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures
Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Adjust sensor to ensure proper operation
Inspect wires, sheet end cutter for build-up, vacuum systems to track position to ensure proper function.
Clean pipes, conveyor belts, line rollers, forming pit, trenches and grates.
Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.
Clean forming and press felt by using HCL and proper rinsing techniques
Check rollers for moisture
Pump out the water from the Pulpier and BC conveyor pits by using the gas diaphragm pump

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and to push-pull up to 75lbs.
Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.
Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy.
Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
