Cox Manufacturing is seeking individuals ready for a high-skilled, in-demand career. Cox Apprentices enjoy working with their hands and enjoy learning to solve new problems EVERY day. As an apprentice, you will learn how to create precision parts that go into complex products such as medical equipment, electronics, firearms, and more.
The Cox Apprenticeship is not an unpaid internship. While you are learning, you are earning full-time pay and benefits. The more problems you learn how to solve, the more you will progress within our state-of-the-art, advanced manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Operate and setup production machines
Inspect parts for conformance
Work as a team to run production and solve issues
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or GED (or GED equivalent)
Must be able to work 1st shift, and at least one of the off shifts (2nd / 3rd)
Pay Progression:
Year 1 (no experience): $16.00/hr. minimum
Year 2: $18.00/hr. minimum
Year 3: $20.00/hr. minimum
Apprentice Graduate $24.00/hr. +
Shift Schedule:
1st shift is 7 am - 4 pm
2nd shift is 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (off shift)
3rd shift is 11:00 pm - 7:30 am (off shift)
NOTE: New apprentices start initial training on 1st shift (for at least 3 months)
