Some of the required duties are very industry specific yet will still make use of general accounting and customary business and financial business practices. An integral position, the Controller will look to monitor daily processes, lend assistance to projects, solve intermittent issues and display the ‘take charge’ attitude expected from a successful business professional.

*Duties and Responsibilities*

· Assist with oversight of financial activities, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and controls.

· Treasury management responsibilities including cash management, short/long term investments, A/P and A/R optimization.

· Preparation of on-line balance transfers, ACH payments and wire transfers.

· Manages and maintains a monthly accounting close process, preparing financial statements timely and presenting to management.

· Manage the Company’s perpetual recruiting efforts.

· Responsible for the audit/verification of all company expenses to include trade payables, employee reimbursements and asset purchases.

*Qualifications*

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.

· Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role.

· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

· Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and audit processes.

· Advanced Excel skills and experience in data analysis and financial modeling.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

· Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop a finance team.
