Area Manager Spare Parts

Job Description

International equipment manufacturing subsidiary (for industrial minerals processing and cement grinding applications) is seeking a Sales Engineer to promote Spare Parts Sales in the Americas.

Requirements:

B.S. Degree, or higher in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial.

Experience specific to the Cement or mineral industries is a plus.

Availability to travel – minimum 30%.

Proficiency in reading technical drawings and parts lists.

Legally authorized to work in the US and have a valid passport for international travel.

Operational tasks:

Obtaining information about the sales market.

Developing sales strategies.

Regular customer visits.

Process inquiries from quotation to order closings.

Providing advice to customers so they can understand the benefits of our products.

Understanding the installed base of machines and generating new sales and service opportunities.

Skills:

Ability to understand mechanical engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Familiar with MS Project and Visio.

Knowledge of ERP programs. ENAIO and proAlpha are a plus.

Detail-oriented.

Strong ability to work in a small team environment.

Good at multi-tasking.

Excellent communication and grammar skills and proficiency in English. Spanish language is a plus.
