AR/Billing Accountant
About the Company and Opportunity:
Our client is a long-standing law firm in the DMV area!
Due to a retirement, they are hiring a AR/Billing Accountant in their DC location. This position is hybrid (2 days remote) after training!
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $30-32/hr

Overview of the AR/Billing Accountant role:
Billing - prepare invoices and maintain an established billing schedule
Payment Posting - credit, cash, check, & ACH
Collections - B2B / B2C collections - monitor the aging - establish relationships with clients
General reconciliations / ad hoc reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the AR/Billing Accountant:
3+ years of law firm billing experience
Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables / VLOOKUPs)
Strong reconciliations skills
Great Plains system experience is a PLUS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
