Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts - US GAAP (10-18 yrs)

Role and responsibilities

This challenging role is an opportunity for a motivated seasoned accountant whose primary responsibilities will be to support core Accounting functions, day to day accounting activities, moth end and year end close process, Intercompany accounting transactions.

Responsible for Managing general accounting functions and Ensuring Accounting policies compliances. Ensuring that accounting align with US GAAP and current US legislation and compliances.

Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month end and year end reports are completed accurately and on time.

Prepare and publish timely and accurate financial statements including -

Income statements, BS and cash flow statements. Responsible for month end and year end close process

Review the Journals entered by the teams.

AP, GL of respective regions

Responsible for intercompany transaction-accounting, compliance and assisting the audit of respective regions.

Support the finance team in continuous improvement and Automation. Include design, testing and rollout of financial reporting systems/tools/processes.

Develop and document business process and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Responsible for preparing monthly reconciliation statements for all balance sheet accounts.

Multi-Entity Management: Manage complex multi-entity structures across various jurisdictions, coordinating financial operations for each entity.

Accounting Oversight: Oversee all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and taxation. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Demonstrate expertise in both US GAAP

Liaise with external auditors to complete timely financial audits.

Revenue account reconciliations

Audit support - Statutory audit support including preparation of Income Tax schedules, Local GAAP tax provisions and handle all direct tax related questions from audit team and coordinate with legal entity managers for various tax issues.

Qualifications

Should have 10+ Yrs of relevant experience.

Fluent written and spoken English skills, able to use English to communicate with worldwide peers.

5 days, work from office in mid-shift.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related areas.

Any Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is a plus

Experience working with U.S companies is mandatory.

Solid knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.

Experience with QuickBooks (QB) is mandatory.

Process improvement projects -Participate and Lead in process improvement projects to improve existing process. Takes active part in process automation and providing dash board reporting using data analytics and other tools.

Tax filing - Coordinates with auditor firms to support tax return of various U.S legal entities.
