Stellantis’ Software Organization (SWX) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. You will get opportunity to work on Software defined vehicle architecture, which will shape future of mobility. Stellantis has a goal to build Connected Services / technology to enable always-connected and up-to-date services via regular over-the-air (OTA) updates, keeping vehicles fresh, exciting, and updated years after they have been built – 34 million connected Stellantis cars are expected by 2030, and we aim to have all new vehicles to be fully configurable and OTA capable by 2024. We work backward from delightful and productive customer experiences and build a software services platform to enable the development of value-added customer services, subscriptions, and features on demand, to enable Stellantis’ goal of generating 20 billion euros in software-related revenue by 2030.

The individual should be an experienced technical leader, have the ability to contribute to a strong competent team that can work laterally and across multiple meta functions. The team will be global and will support all Stellantis applications utilizing the Agile methodology.

The responsibilities of the OTA Offboard Test Automation Engineer, include but are not limited to the following:

Review existing automated test coverage, assess new requirements, and identify any gaps that may exist.

Understand and contribute to processes for Continuous testing, Test Management and Test Reporting for Automated Test Suites

Good knowledge and experience with software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality throughout the software development cycle

Develop automated tests using modern development languages (Java, Java Script or Python)

Leveraging existing test automation framework, create automated API, functional and Non-functional tests using various automation tools/framework (i.e. Gherkin, Selenium, SeeTest, Appium, Postman, GitHub, Jenkins, Jmeter, AWS cloud services)

Ability to develop test following best coding practices i.e scripts are portable, reusable and maintainable.

Drive continuous improvements in automated testing coverage and speed.

Integrate testing processes with continuous integration pipeline.

Identify new tools and technologies to develop a world class validation platform.

Position Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline

Minimum of 3 year of experience validating software in automotive applications

Good analytical problem-solving skills

Experience with continuous integration, testing & deployment.

Experience with creating Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Procedure, Test Cases, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), management of Bug reports, Collection of Logs and Test reporting.

Fluent in several programming languages used in test automation like Java, Python, Java Script, etc.

Experience with testing web-based applications, mobile applications (iOS and Android) and REST services.

Strong foundational experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe

Experience with AWS Services: S3, SM, ECS, ECR, DF

Experience with Github, Jenkins, Selenium, Postman, and Appium

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Connected Vehicle Prior experience working with an Automotive OEM

Knowledge and understanding of an Automotive OEM

Experienced with multi-process, multi-threaded development environments.
