Description:

Ø Input calibration data, including instrument details, calibration results, date and time of calibration, technician information, and other relevant details, into computer systems or databases. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data entry.

Ø Verify the accuracy of calibration data by cross-referencing it with calibration datasheet, technician notes, and other documentation. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors.

Ø Maintain a well-organized system for storing and archiving calibration records. Ensure that records are easily retrievable and comply with data retention policies.

Ø Implement data integrity protocols to prevent unauthorized access, tampering, or loss of calibration records. Ensure that data is kept confidential and secure.

Ø Assist in the preparation of calibration reports and certificates by providing accurate and up-to-date data. Collaborate with calibration technicians and reporting personnel to ensure documentation is complete and compliant.

Ø Ensure that all data entry processes adhere to relevant industry-specific standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems (ISO 17025).

Ø Generate routine and ad-hoc reports as needed, summarizing calibration data trends, equipment status, and compliance metrics for management and quality control purposes.

Ø Identify opportunities to enhance data entry processes, streamline workflows, and improve data accuracy.

Ø Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time and ensures that company policies, procedures and business ethics are understood and complied with.

Ø Provide reminder to calibration technicians and other personnel on proper data recording and entry practices to maintain data consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Ø A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.

Ø Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Ø Proficiency in computer applications and data entry software.

Ø Basic knowledge of calibration procedures and terminology is advantageous.

Ø Familiarity with data security and confidentiality practices.

Ø Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements.

Ø Effective communication skills for collaborating with calibration technicians and other team members.
