Position Description
This position is located in the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of the General Counsel. This position serves as the Program Support Specialist to the Principal Deputy General Counsel (PDGC), with the responsibility for handling a wide range of sensitive and confidential special assignments of great personal interest and concern to the PDGC.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:
Provides confidential advice on matters that are considered to be sensitive in nature.
Primary responsibility for the Principal Deputy General Counsels calendar based on knowledge about the work of the office.
Performs research within the office to obtain requisite information, or obtains such information and data from other outside offices.
Arranges for official travel, renewal of parking permits, coordinates arrangements for large conferences including the availability of suitable conference rooms and audio-visual graphics.
Performs other duties include, but are not limited to, general administrative duties: calendar management, scheduling, answering phones, greeting clients, filing, Gifts from Foreign Government Program, and classified burn bag disposal.
