Terrapin Logistics Inc is looking to expand into new Territories and is actively hiring potential drivers for new routes as they become available. New hire process can take between 1-3 weeks. New routes come available on a monthly basis.

Job Title: Last Mile Package Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Last Mile Package Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong work ethic.

Routes will be in various areas of DFW and can be between 20-100+ stops (factors are vehicle capacity, driver ability, and difficultly of area)

Responsibilities:

- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner

- Ensure packages are delivered to the correct address and recipient

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws while driving

- Report any issues or concerns to management

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver's license (at least 5 years old) and clean driving record

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in package delivery or related field

- Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods

- Experience using handheld devices for package tracking and delivery confirmation

Current drivers license that is at least 5 years old (if you got a license at age 17 then must be 22 years old)

Must submit to a background check and MVR

Ability to lift 50 lbs+

Willing and able to work in all weather conditions

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Deliver all packages daily within the prescribed time windows.

Operate your vehicle in a safe, secure and competent manner.

Report to the station prepared to examine and organize daily load before departure.

Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.
