Nature and Purpose

The Skin Global Director is responsible for developing and implementing a Strategy for Skin Platform for Vantage Personal Care. Bringing technical expertise on customer needs and understanding of formulation, manufacturing, and value proposition, this role builds on Innovation and Technical Marketing for the company, creating formulations and applications to captivate customers and incentive demand.

With great market understanding, this role is able not only to address current global megatrends but also to work with a team to create new upcoming trends to position Vantage Products in the next generation of products for our customers.

Responsibilities

Create long-term and short-term strategies to drive growth in the skin category with existing and future Vantage Portfolio: Lead product marketing and drive innovation pipeline for skincare, building platforms by leveraging insights and analytics to create strategic direction and priorities, including a focus on fast-growing categories, hero products, and emerging trends.

Plan and execute high visibility marketing campaigns that inspire Vantage customers and drive new customer growth and sales and lead strategy and execution of new marketing tactics to drive engagement and lead conversion.

Lead product marketing and drive innovation pipeline for skincare with AATs, building platforms by leveraging insights and analytics to create strategic direction and priorities, including focus on fast-growing categories, hero products, and emerging trends.

Determine new market opportunities for products based on market data, consumer insights, social listening, and emerging trends.

Infuse compelling storytelling to new product launches.

Create innovative internal and external partnerships to drive organic visibility and traffic for the category with customers and potential partners.

Represents Vantage as Skin Expert on tradeshows, customer visits and events.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Chemistry preferred.

10+ years of work experience in product innovation or formulation (5 years specific to skincare with a deep understanding of ingredients and market dynamics)

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to translate conceptual initiatives into detailed marketing plans with the support of multiple internal teams.

A strong understanding of the skincare category and mass market landscape is desired with expertise in customer-driven marketing strategies.

Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, flexible, and able to manage conflicting priorities.

A strategic thinker and team player.

Organized and detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Willingness to travel (domestic and international).
