Overview:

The ISSM/FSO will execute in accordance to established NISP procedures and processes to provide safeguarding of information, technology, employees and company property. In addition, this position will manage security clearances in accordance with NISP and other physical security policies and procedures. Also support duties of the Information Security System Manager (ISSM) related to the DAAPM/RMF policies.

Responsibilities:

Primary advisor to the Division Security Lead on all physical and industrial security matters and liaison to the local Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Industrial Security Representative as the site Facility Security Officer on all matters pertaining to the safeguarding and handling of classified and controlled unclassified information (CUI).

Oversees periodic self-inspections to ensure NISP compliance; reports security posture to site, group, or corporate leadership via established tools.

Oversees, monitors and reports on all security aspects of the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DoE) or other industrial and physical security programs and activities as the site Facility Security Officer.

Develops, implements, and administers security procedures for classified computer systems based on the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DoE) and other U.S. Government agency security requirements with solid knowledge of RMF, ODAA, DAAPM, NISPOM, DCSA processes and policies.

Ensure system audits, updates, and backups are conducted per security control requirements.

Troubleshoot and build information systems per RMF.

Conduct security briefings and debriefings in accordance to company and government requirements including counterintelligence, pre-and post-travel and suspicious contact reports.

Implements local processes and procedures to comply with all National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements.

Ensures proper training and routine oversight of site reception duties, to include badge handling and processing, visitor control and physical security management.

Performs independently, or with a group, security projects designed to enhance the security posture of FG.

Expert understanding of DCSA requirements; DD254, KMP, Contracts, all security disciplines.

Understanding of the SIMS database, and badging system

Qualifications:

Minimum:

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience

A minimum of 5 years of industrial security experience

A minimum of 1 year of working knowledge or access with eMASS

Position will require the candidate to be eligible to obtain or maintain a Security Clearance

Preferred:

Degree in in Computer Science and/or Security

5+ years of working knowledge or access with JPAS, NISS, DISS, STEPP and SWIFT

Completion of DCSA ISSM/RMF training and required FSO Certification training or ability to complete training within a 12-month period from the start of employment

Experience with auditing tools and system security software/database (i.e. SIMS, SCAP)

Completion of all DCSA required FSO training Security

Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office™ products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project.

Salary Range: $123,745 - $154,681 annually.

Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate
