Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced 1st Class Inside Machinists for projects located in and around the the Newport News, VA area. We are hiring for all shifts with a pay range of up to $45/hour based on experience plus $120/Day Per Diem to travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

Operate Manual and/or NC Machines Such as: Lathes, Mills, Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers, EDMs, Etc.

Drilling/Tapping Processes

Horizontal Boring Mills

Vertical Turning Centers

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 Years Experience as an Inside Shop Machinist

Able to Pass a Drug Screen & Background Check

Familiar with Numerical Controlled Processes Manual Data Input Tooling Offsets Conversation Controllers

Must be Open to Working all Shifts

Must hold US Citizenship to Meet Necessary Badging Requirements

Experience with Controllers Such as: Fanuc Siemens Acramatic Cincinnati-Milacron

Familiar with the use of Precision Measuring Instruments: Outside/Inside Micrometers Depth Mics Verniers

Familiar with Carbide Machining Processes

Ability to Comprehend Complex Mechanical Drawings and Blueprints
