Summary

The Material Logistics Operator / Team Member will be responsible as a key member of the Logistics Team. In this role, you will be expected to follow the company's guidelines for performing all tasks and ensure cohesion within the team You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This posting is primarily for our Battery System Assembly plant located in Ellabell, GA. The starting base rate of pay will be $20.20 per hour. Based on Mobis performance policy, once hired, team members who demonstrate advanced skills may qualify for a higher level of pay in the future.

About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC.

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assemblies (BSAs) and Electric Powertrain (PE) Systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities:

Maintain safety as the number one focus for all duties and tasks. Participate in company safety programs and assist with incident investigations when applicable.

Must be able to pass and maintain powered equipment (forklift, etc.) certification which includes following all safety protocols, inspections, training, and recertification.

Assist the unloading team with the putaway process.

Work directly with the unpacking team to ensure materials are prepped for production.

Monitor recycling across the work area. Ensure recycling is tracked properly. Escalate any deficiencies to the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics Team Lead

Will be required to support any of the other Logistics roles occasionally.

Play a key role in audit prep processes.

Assist material handlers with production staging.

Manage inventory and process control with all operations.

Manage empty LP cart storage as well as CKD totes for return to support Supervisory Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)

Required Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

1 or more years in a warehousing/logistics role

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum of 2 years in a warehousing/logistics role with the focus on receiving

Basic knowledge of ERP and PDA

Basic math skills.

Communicate well through written and verbal methods.

Interpersonal skills that promote collaboration within multiple workstreams

Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Duties are performed in a warehouse environment using industrial forklifts or other material movement equipment.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.

Must be able to lift 75 lbs. occasionally.

Must be able to stand for the entire shift.

Some overtime may be required depending on the division's needs.
