Quality Control Auditor

As a Quality Control Auditor, your strong attention to detail will allow you to conduct quality control reviews of residential loan production files including closed loan audits, FHA/VA audits and investor repurchases.

This position is based on-site in our NVR mortgage offices.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform in-depth reviews of residential loan files in accordance with the Quality Control program and accepted agency standards; including Closed Loan, Discretionary, Prefunding

Early Payment Default, and Fair Lending reviews

Submit quality work within established deadlines

Review Appraisal reports for compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines

Review identified loans for possible fraudulent activity

Review investor/agency repurchase requests and prepare the necessary response for mitigation

Remain current with regulation changes from governmental/state agencies, as well as policy changes from FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, NVR Mortgage, and any other agency affecting the company’s loan production process

Maintain knowledge of all underwriting guidelines

Provide response and guidance to compliance related inquiries from operations staff

Assist with the preparation and coordination of required Quality Control reporting

Prepare required documentation for state and agency examinations

Perform additional projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

2 years of experience working in audit or with a financial institution

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
