Job Title: Inside Sales/Smallwares Sales

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: General Manager

Supervision: No supervisory responsibilities

Salary Range: $40K-$55K/depending on experience

Job Location: Nashville, Tennessee

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

As an Inside Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and providing excellent customer service within the restaurant and foodservice industry. You will work closely with our existing customer base while actively seeking new opportunities to expand our market presence in Tennessee.

Essential Functions

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and product knowledge sharing.

Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and support.

Sales Growth:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the restaurant and foodservice industry.

Conduct market research to identify potential leads and target customers.

Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio, including food and beverage items, equipment, and related services.

Provide product information and recommendations to customers to meet their specific needs.

Order Processing:

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery.

Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed.

Sales Support:

Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and order customization.

Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.

Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel

This position will require travel in the local area to customers as needed.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.

A minimum of two years in a sales or sales support role.

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience in the food service industry.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

· Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.

· Must have a valid driver's license.
