PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Kable Staffing is in urgent need of a Press Brake Operator in Batavia, OH. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ABOUT THE JOB

Proficient using basic hand and air tools such as drill, grinder, cutting wheels, wrench, and clamps.

Demonstrate ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required)

Ability to tack and stitch weld using GMAW/ MIG welding methods.

Required to follow written and verbal work instructions.

Ability to lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.

Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.

REQUIREMENTS

The minimum age requirement is 18 years.

1+ year of on-the-job experience in related field or industry (metal fabrication, construction, welding, etc)

Attended trade school and completed program in welding or construction.

Experience reading blueprints is a plus.

Able to work independently.

Attention to detail.

Visual Acuity

Good communication skills with production personnel and management

Stand and/or walk most shifts, plus ability to bend, squat, lift (up to fifty pounds), push, pull, reach with or without reasonable accommodation.

Comfortable with using technology and following automated processes,

Demonstrated exemplary attendance and work habits.

Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and/or stoop on a repetitive basis.

Pass background check and drug test
