Supply Chain and Transport Management experience
Knowledge & Experience in WMS MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word
Highly proficient in Excel for data management and reporting
Tracking and Tracing systems work experience
Job Related Requirements
• 5 years experience within the logistics transport space. • 5 years experience in transport service provider management Experience. Performance, development & relationship building. • 2 years Experience in the management of transport claims, incidents, investigations and related reporting. • 2 years Experience in creating, documenting, implementing standard operating procedures and managing service providers accordingly
• Good interpersonal skills for client account management. • Must be able to build rappor and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. • Ability to interpret requirements from clients (internal & external), translate and communicate to transport operations. • Must be able to meet and manage customer expectations and ensure compliance to procedures, regulations, work instructions and workloads. • The ability to understand and interpret transport performance and compliance data Analysing and building of reports accordingly. • Experience in working and communication with management. • Fluent in English speaking, writing, interpretation & communication • Attention to detail & strong administrative skills. • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment. • Good time management, organizational skills & problem solving attitude. • Team player and focused on collective goals • Good analytical skills and ability to think logically • Attention to detail and have a strong sense of urgency.

Main purpose of the role
This role will be responsible for the management, support and coordination of all transporters information and deliverables to ensure the customers service levels are met. • Monitoring of Transporters assigned to handle outbound and inbound loads to DSV Solutions. • Monitoring real time day to day challenges and proactively look at solution resolution. • Ensuring the compliance of the SLA by the Transporters to DSV Solutions and also ensuring that this meets the Client’s SLA. • The role requires constant follow-up on action items and outstanding issues to ensure that the team has the finger on the pulse. • Handling of all serious incidents and claims • Transporters deliverables & SLA management • Reporting to relevant stakeholders, including management at all levels. • Co-ordinating/Consolidating all the information from various transporters in a presentable manner • Build and maintain a strong business partnership with the existing customers & transporters. • Consciously looking for value adding opportunities to improve current processes and deliverables as per the client contract • Overall service and development within the transportation space • Proactively driven to identify, action, and manage on deliverables • Continuous improvement projects and implementations, including CAPA’s
Duties and Responsibilities
• Transporter management: Co-ordinating/Consolidating all the information from various transporters in a presentable manner, including monthly presentation for Clients. • Understand the Client’s business & requirements to support how DSV service the customer. • Develop a strong, trusting relationship with clients and transporters • Deep understanding and execution of contractual SLA’s & KPI’s • Proactively driven to identify, action, and manage on deliverables • Adherence to tasks not stipulated in job profile i.e., audit compliance, adhoc duties due to operational requirements. • Maintain various reports in line with KPI and contractual obligations. • Complete daily system checks to ensure all data to and from the transporters system is working • Daily team meetings with various stakeholders, aligned to client and transportation deliverables. Specifically focusing on noncompliance, queries, improvements, challenges, performance etc. • Daily & weekly reporting on IOD,s POD’s and SLA • Handle incidents and claims and ensure that the necessary protocols are followed • Handling of escalations and time sensitive deliveries & queries. • Ensure client queries are managed daily and necessary escalation and issue resolution is addressed within KPI • Support in creating and maintaining processes, SOP’s, Work Instructions etc. • Training and role out of change management processes • Ensure on going performance measurement, systems and metrics are used and in line to service excellence and client centricity • Have clear and consistent communication within operation and between the warehouse, transporter and client to ensure all achievements and exceptions are managed pro-actively to ensure proper management of expectations • Consistently reviewing data to identify areas of improvement to support the overall services and development of the transportation product • Good understanding of domestic and cross border/international transport requirements • Focus on compliance levels with regards to documentation and export & import controls
