Purchase Executive

· Should be able to complete procurement requirements for Steel Structure and Steel Fabrication.

· Experienced in coordinating with sub-contractors.

· Contact material suppliers for Steel Structure drawings in Steel Fabrication Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.

· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization.

· Continuously assess market trends, supplier capabilities, and product innovations to enhance procurement effectiveness.

· Generate and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.

· Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to quality standards and budgetary limitations.

· Monitor inventory levels and track usage patterns to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage.

· Collaborate with relevant departments to establish quality standards for purchased goods and services.

· Conduct supplier audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company specifications.

· Implement cost-saving initiatives such as bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and alternative sourcing strategies.

· Monitor contract performance, resolve disputes, and negotiate contract renewals or terminations as necessary.

· Ensure compliance with import laws, regulations, and industry standards governing procurement activities.

Requirements

· Minimum 4 years of steel fabrication industry experience in the UAE

· Must have knowledge of Steel Purchasing, Consumables (Welding rods, cutting disk, drill machines etc)

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.

· Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.

· Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
