Specialist, Operations (Inbound)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To drive and contribute to Warehouse & Logistics Operations business strategies by working with the business

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure daily approval is done in a timely manner for shipment confirmation, custom clearance documentation on HS code & sales tax /duty

Ensure good planning of product deliveries to the 3PL warehouse to minimize port storage/ DEM&DET charges

Monitoring & management of inbound capacity planning

Optimizing Inbound delivery performance with cost saving initiatives; providing visible product flow and status; strengthening processes and policies; leveraging systems

To manage daily 3PL Warehouse inbound operations that are functioning safely with a high level of accuracy, efficiency (cost & process), and productivity

Ensuring good warehouse practices are continually maintained to make the “Best in Class” facility in the region

Ensuring continuous creative improvement in the inbound process through problem identification and problem analysis

Be responsible for 3PL Warehouse, Custom Broker, Freight Forwarder & Global KPIs Performance, analyze & identify areas of improvement

Vigilant in being the gatekeeper in any deviation in the process

Constantly analyzing the “health” status of the inbound operations with the help of collected data.

Updating weekly incoming shipment reports to 3PL for their storage capacity planning & posting of Inventory Status timely

Coordination and Communication with “internal customers” about Inbound activities

Manage and control Inbound management activities following the Statement Of Work (SOW)

Timely submission or updating of reports assigned

To investigate any inbound discrepancy. Compiling & responsible for claim submission to relevant parties in a timely manner for inbound shortage/product loss or damage

On-time verification & coding of inbound related invoices before submission for approval

To support Store Fixtures & Sample import shipment activities

Inter-support of outbound control & management

Perform any other roles or duties assigned by the Manager

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills

Diploma in Logistics Management or related field

Minimum 3 years of work experience in logistics operations, preferably experience in the sports or clothing industry

PC literature, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
