Wanted: Skilled Administrative Assistant in Akron area

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant with an office background to organize and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures for Radon Eliminator. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.

About Our Company

At Radon Eliminator, we are in the business of testing and removing Radon from homes and businesses.

Our goal is to create awareness of the dangers of Radon and save people's lives. Radon is the second leading cause of Lung Cancer in the U.S. and kills more people than Drunk Drivers annually.

What We Need From You

The Administrative Assistant's responsibilities include scheduling meetings and appointments with customers and real estate agents, answering phone calls, sending email quotes, and handling various customer questions.

Previous experience as a Front office manager or Office administrator would be an advantage. A successful Administrative Assistant should also have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and accurately handle administrative duties.

Ultimately, the Administrative Assistant should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Getting certified with the Ohio Department of Health for Radon Testing and Mitigation. (This is part of the paid training)

Answer customer questions about radon and radon installation services.

Schedule deliverables and estimate costs with homeowners, business owners, and our mitigation team.

Meet contractual conditions of performance and payment with homeowners, home inspectors, and businesses.

Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

Train and work well together with others

Maintain calendars of all radon service team members

Requirements

Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front office manager, or Administrative assistant

Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)

Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g., fax machines and printers)

Familiarities with email scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and HubSpot

Understanding of Google Suite

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

This is a Full-Time Job with a starting salary range between $30,000 - $45,000 per year based on experience with opportunities to grow significantly within the company.
