Job Description

Seek out and implement new ways to accomplish assigned tasks, solve problems and improves process.

Communicate, resolve conflict, maintain a positive attitude, nurture teamwork, and build effective professional relationships with others.

Show concern for safety of self/others and proactively act in a safe manner to protect people and property. (Goal: Zero recordable accidents)

Demonstrate effective housekeeping habits (including 5s)

Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, including the application of Six Sigma methodology.

Job Specific Competencies:

Blueprint Reading….Including (GD&T)

CMM programming (Specifically Open DIMIS)

CMM operation (Specifically Open DIMIS)

Inspection arm programming &operation (Specifically FAROARM)

Familiarity with Production Part Approval Process

Advanced Open set-up skills

Calibration experience, but not core requirement

Efficient with Microsoft Applications (Specifically Excel&Word)

Understanding of SPC(Statistical Process Control)(Specifically using Minitab)

Understanding of GR&R

Utilization of precision measuring instruments (micrometer, surface plates, calipers, etc.)

English/Metric conversion

Scientific calculator basic trigonometry & geometry

Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS16949)

Associates Degree or equivalent preferred

Walking, bending, standing, carrying product, reaching overhead and heavy lifting required

Job requires the ability to stand or walk 10 – 12 hours

Ability to frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 35 pounds
