Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Florida Med Psych Consultants is responsible for consulting and managing medical conditions for patients receiving care in Behavioral Health settings. This position is an entry-level role, responsible for day-to-day operational support within 1 or more Behavioral Health facilities. Must have dependable transportation to travel between 2 locations daily as needed. Occasional weekend availability is required.

Some examples of tasks include:

Verification of patient census

Communication with the clinical team regarding consults and patient follow-up care

Encounter & Billing validation & follow-up

Assist providers with chart prep

Support providers as needed during H&P and other patient evaluations

Support quality initiatives

Attend team meetings

Preferred Skills

Excellent communication & organization/time management skills

Self-starter with attention to detail and working familiarity with EMR systems

Must be dependable, showing up to work on time to prepare for the day

Entry-level position, will train
