Job Title: Desktop Analyst II

Location-Type: On-site, NYC

Start Date Is: ASAP

Duration: 6+month contract

Compensation Range: Up to $29/hr

Job Description:

Our client is in search of a dedicated and capable IT Desktop Analyst to join their team on a full-time, onsite basis. The successful candidate will be pivotal in providing top-notch IT support both onsite and remotely across all company locations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Provide immediate IT support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues both in person and over the phone.

Efficiently handle incoming support requests through phone calls, ServiceNow tickets, emails, and direct interactions.

Ensure all support activities are thoroughly documented, tracked, and monitored within our ticketing system to guarantee timely resolutions.

Perform installations of basic PC software applications including but not limited to MS Office and Citrix.

Prepare, stage, and configure both new and existing desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.

Serve as both first and second level support for computer upgrades and installations.

Assist in both hardware and software asset management, as well as the hardware warranty repair processes.

Support company meetings through IT services as required.

Engage in ongoing development of problem-solving skills and enhancement of support methodologies.

Must-Have Skills:

Proficiency in managing both PC and MAC environments.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to efficient support methods.

Strong interpersonal skills, capable of handling customer support with courtesy and efficiency.

Experience with IT support tracking systems and a strong ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
