To guarantee safe vessel operations and maritime environmental protection in compliance with regulatory, owner, and company-specific standards, review, develop, and deliver training courses as needed.
Ensure that training activities are properly documented and kept in records.
Analyse client satisfaction and the efficacy of the training, and address any inadequacies as soon as you can in compliance with the standards of the Quality Management System.
To maintain the company's competitive advantage, keep up with market advances and proactively offer answers to new industry difficulties.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of two years of Chief Engineer-level sailing experience from a nation on the IMO White List
Minimum of one year of relevant onshore work experience working with electronic engines (ME-C/RT Flex) and participating in seafarers' training
Prior seafaring experience is preferred.
Experience operating tanks is mandatory for Master applicants.
For Master applicants, experience operating a chemical tanker is preferred.
Experience operating dual-fuel or LNG vessels is preferred.
Outstanding presenting ability and fluency in both written and spoken English
Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator to get along with all levels of staff both on board and ashore
Organising, flexible, nimble in the face of change, and capable of addressing problems
Computer literate, with a focus on the many contemporary training resources to provide a stimulating learning environment
