Senior Safety & Environmental Technician Lead

Responsibilities:

Assist Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to collect, analyze and maintain statistics on accidents, occupational poisonings, and diseases, which occurred at the plant.

Planning & assist in performing annual Industrial hygiene monitoring to comply with local environmental standards & regulations.

Assist in managing emergency response team and its facilities in accordance with the regulations.

Conduct workplace inspection and able to work with respective area owners to come out with solution to solve the unsafe act or unsafe conditions observed.

Conduct incident investigation and generate incident report with minimal guidance.

Assist in managing the safety and health committee and ensure the committee is active.

Assist in any safety & environmental programs and its execution.

Requirements:

Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent approved by minister.

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational/Industrial Safety, safety-related field or equivalent work experience related to safety, industrial hygiene, health. Green book holder is advantage

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment related to people safety, health and environment. Preferably in food, pharmaceutical or FMCG industries.

Detailed knowledge of DOSH regulations and applicable industry environmental, occupational health and safety standards.

Possess knowledges on confined space activity, identified & control the hazards.

Advanced proficiency in computer programs and software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point

Knowledge of manufacturing practices and processes.
