As Buyer, you will be responsible for:

Purchasing components to aid in manufacturing

Reading and understanding drawings

Issuing and tracking RFQ packets

Sourcing and evaluating new vendors

Negotiating costs

Monitoring and auditing suppliers

Assisting with budget development

Resolving supplier issues

To be considered for the Buyer position, you must have:

At least 2 years of previous purchasing/buying experience in a manufacturing facility. A degree and automotive manufacturing is a plus

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP is a plus
