We are looking for a talented Formal/Wedding Hair Stylist individual who thrives on providing personalized service and building connections with clients? If you're a friendly and energetic person, we have an exciting opening for you as a Hair Stylist in Fairport, NY. As a Hair Stylist, you will be instrumental in crafting distinctive and genuine experiences for our clients. Your duties will involve delivering a range of hair services such as haircuts, updos, coloring, perms, highlights, and more, all as detailed in our Spa Menu.

In this position, you will:

Delight our Guests: Embrace your role as a gracious and inviting Hair Stylist by engaging with our clients and boosting their confidence. Whether they're getting ready for a special occasion or just a night out, your welcoming demeanor will create lasting memories.

Master Hair Care Techniques: Keeping abreast of industry developments and ongoing training will be a key focus. This will empower you to offer services that ensure client satisfaction and drive revenues. You'll also provide styling tips, recommend hair care routines, and promote related products or services.

Uphold Professionalism: Your dedication to providing top-notch service will shine through in all your interactions. Maintaining a tidy and well-equipped workspace, following hygiene protocols, and handling transactions courteously will be second nature to you. Furthermore, you'll manage inventory meticulously to optimize product usage.

Specialize in Wedding Updos: Showcasing your expertise and confidence in creating stunning wedding updos will be your forte, understanding the significance of enhancing someone's big day.

$12.65 hourlyResponsibilities:

Requires a current license with prior customer service and/or hotel experience preferred.

Must be able to work long hours, mostly on your feet.

Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Must be able to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.

Must be able to quickly and agilely respond to situations requiring quick assistance.

Will work under variable temperatures and noise levels.

Must possess the ability to see details at close range and use scissors, razors, and other tools with great care.

Must be able to convey and understand information and ideas in English.

Must be proficient in special event hairstyles (updos, evening curls, wedding hair).

Ability to do make-up or nails is a plus, but not required.

We also are a full-service salon doing cuts, color, and style (Open to the public).

We are very busy with Weddings from April to November, so Saturday availability for special events a must.

If you are licensed as a cosmetologist, you can be cross-trained in facials and nails if desired.About Company
